So last Sunday, my boyfriend and I decided to go somewhere we had never been. At first, we were like, "I don't know.. like where?" But we came up with a place after a while, which was Snoqualmie Falls!
People often tell me that it's pretty impressive, so I'd always wanted to go there. Surprisingly, my boyfriend, who was born and raised in Seattle area, had never been there, either! So in a couple minutes after coming up with this idea, we were already in our car, headed to Snoqualmie Falls :)
I first thought we probably had to walk for a while to actually see the falls, but I was wrong (which was nice, of course. Hehe). It was less than 100 feet away from this sign below.

It was more impressive than I thought! We just saw the falls from the observation deck where I took those pics, but if you like, you can also hike down to the falls. Even though there was nothing other than the falls, I really enjoyed it. It's like where my grandparents live in Japan (which means in mountains), and I felt bittersweet inside.
I'd say it's worth seeing once! I mean, once is probably enough.. ;p If you want to do something more than just visiting the falls, you can also go to Snoqualmie Casino. The casino is really close to the falls and brand new, so I think you should go see the huge, beautiful casino. Might as well, right? Besides, you could even win some money.. if you're lucky :)
