Yesterday was...

My birthday! I had a really good evening. First, my boyfriend took me to El Paraiso, a Mexican Grill Restaurant in Everett, for dinner. We both had Fajitas, which satisfied our hungry stomachs very much (Well, a little too much and we felt like we could explode afterward..hehe). Their Mojito was also delicious!

During the dinner, he gave me one of the birthday presents. It was a weekend trip to Oregon!! I kept telling him that I wanted to get out of Seattle and have some quality time together. You might say, "It's not really a get-away trip because Oregon isn't that far from Seattle." BUT check this hotel (←click) out!! This is the one he reserved, and isn't it a cute hotel?? Obviously this hotel is very popular, and he even had to put his name on the waiting list to reserve a room (we're lucky that somebody canceled their reservation!). So I'm very excited for the trip :)

I love making plans for trips. I'd say that it's one of the most exciting parts about trips. You can think of all the things you want to do, and everything goes smoothly in planning (in your head), which never happens during actual trips. There would be always something unexpected, and that can mess up your perfect plans. I honestly think that's why people sometimes have more fun planning than going and spending time on trips. Of course, the unexpected is the key that makes trips more interesting and memorable.

Anyway, when we came home after dinner, I received a birthday card and the other present. That was a watch. Well, there's a story behind it. One day, he told me to help him pick a watch for his sister-in-law. So I did, and it turned out that was for my birthday last year! I was picking up a present for myself without knowing it. But..yes, I lost it after wearing it for a month or so; I was really sad and felt bad for my boyfriend. He knew how I've been feeling, so he gave me a new one this year!! What a nice, sweet boyfriend... I won't lose it this time, I promise!

And my birthday ended with a nice foot massage :) Thanks to my boyfriend, I had a wonderful birthday. Baby, you're the best and I love you very much!!

Now I want to thank all the people who sent me a b-day message. I'm so happy to have you all in my life <3 br="br">...it's kinda funny that I'm saying it here 'cause nobody knows about this blog.
